Dave is just an ordinary guy who finds incredible fulfillment in living his life for God. For him, God's plan is that he will plant and lead Faith Journey Fellowship.

Before he started serving full-time with churches, Dave was an Industrial Engineer with Texas Instruments in Dallas.

He is passionate about his family. He and his wife, Sandy, have been married 20 years and have six children: Luke, Nathan, Seth, Andrew, Sarah, and Stephen.

They are a family that loves to have fun and live out God's purpose for their lives. It's their desire that everyone they meet will be one step closer to God afterwards.

The Hastings lived in Louisiana 13 years before moving to Northwest Arkansas in March of 2006. Dave has been serving full-time in Christian ministry for the last 17 years. He was most recently Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana for seven years. He has two Master's Degrees from Southwestern Seminary.
