Why a New Church?
- Benton County is the fastest growing county in Arkansas.
- The population of Benton County is expected to increase by at least 200,000 people within the next 20 years. Some projections estimate an increase of 450,000.
- Less than 25% of the residents are involved in a bible-believing church (from the 2000 census).
- If the population grew by 200,000, it would take 100 new churches with 500 people in each church to reach just 25% of the additional residents.
- Most existing churches are not growing or are declining. Most of those that are growing have run out of space.
- Benton County has 26,000 people living at or below the poverty level. (2nd highest in state) New churches with a vision to help the under-resourced will help solve the problem.
